To get the printer recognized I copied the driver file I downloaded to desktop, then extracted the files by right clicking if you make a new folder on desktop its easier to extract them to it then go to printers and devices, select add printer, select I have disk, for location select browse, select new folder created on desktop choose 32bit or 64bit depending on computer, select English, and install, then finish.

Once the printer was recognized, I went to printer preferences, port tab, and for USB there was only docuprknt choice USB, I plugged the printer into a different port apparently the no.
